I’m excited to make my way over the US west-coast to participate in the 2013 Behavior, Energy, and Climate Change conference, which is being held November 18-20 in Sacramento, CA.
The conference is focused on understanding the behavior and decision-making of individuals and organizations and on using that knowledge to accelerate our transition to an energy-efficient and low carbon economy.
I will be giving a talk on Tuesday 19th November at 10:30 during the session “Feedback on Cost of Driving – Moving Beyond Gasoline Price as Economic Motivation of Vehicle Choice and Driving”. I will explain the major finding from my forthcoming JPPM paper, namely, that fuel efficient information is most impactful when presented in terms of the cost of fuel over an extended period of time.
